Looking through the older posts it appears lots of folks here have the Scout model. Does anyone own the Sport and care to post a review? Great price, but I think I need a confidence nudge...anyone?

FYI:

I sent this to my wife the day Jesse posted it. They were sold out at that point (so she told me) She said she was going to try and get a rain check.

I ordered one of these with this deal about 3 weeks ago. I have had it for about 2 weeks. I haven't tried it out under hunting conditions yet, but I have ranged buildings out to about 450 yards. I haven't tried anything longer range than that. It has 4x magnification so I don't know how well it would work for trying to get a reading on an animal at extremely long range. I bought it for bowhunting. I am very pleased and it should work fine for bow or muzzleloader, I think it might be a little iffy for ranging particular animals at longer rifle ranges. I haven't tried that though. I am planning on trying it out on antelope soon to see how far it will work with an individual animal.

Yes, I've got the 'el cheapo' YP model that I bought last summer and I think it's great value for the money and will meet all my ranging needs. Here's the 'review' I posted from last summer:
