Not sure if anyone is aware of this, but this is what I've been sent:
Highway Closure
Roadway Rehabilitation/Bridge Replacement
Project Cost: $25.8 Million
Project Location: In Merced County near Los Banos from Henry Miller Road to 0.1 mile south of Route 140.
Project Includes:
15 miles of Asphalt overlay.
Modification of Rte 165/Santa Fe Grade Rd. intersection.
Modification of Rte 165/Wolfsen Rd. intersection.
Widening Salt Slough Bridge.
Widening San Joaquin River Overflow Bridge.
Replacement of the San Joaquin River Bridge with a new structure.
ROAD CLOSURE:
Route 165 will be closed to through traffic from October 3, 2011 through February 3, 2012 to allow removal and replacement of the San Joaquin River Bridge.
During the closure, the detour route is Route 152, I-5, Routes 33 and 140.
Route 165 will be open to local traffic during that time.
Road closure is timed to occur after the majority of the harvest season, but before winter river flows are at their peak.
