Under Armour Seeking Director of Sales-Outdoor

Reporting to the Vice President of Outdoor, the Director of Sales - Outdoor will directly lead a team of 14 Under Armour sales professionals and over 90 independent sales reps across three distinct categories of business including: 1) Hunt / Fish; 2) Mountain; 3) Tactical & UA Freedom . The sales organization is further broken down by Strategic, Key and Independent Dealer accounts in each category. The position is based at UA's headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Sales will drive all aspects of sales for Strategic, Key, and Independent Accounts. In this role he /she will be responsible for:
* Develop sales and sell-in strategies to maximize the UA's opportunity in Outdoor Apparel, Footwear and Accessories
* Develop and execute sales distribution plans evaluating new opportunities based on current and future product direction
* Collaborate with product, marketing, planning, and sales operations to ensure successful launch and performance in new categories and seasonal products
* Partner with the head(s) of product and marketing to ensure we are meeting key calendar dates; integrating our key product and marketing stories into account presentations and POS. Additionally, providing input and feedback on product and marketing direction is critical
* Develop, foster and maintain key customer relationships across our Strategic and Key Accounts
* Represent sales internally and externally for all meetings that involve Outdoor apparel, footwear, accessories
* Build and develop your team to reach annual sales of $300 million or more
Experience / Skills Required
* Minimum of ten years industry experience leading Key Account sales. Hunt/Fish, Mountain or Action Sports background a plus.
* Proven track record in running key account sales and managing a team.
* Self-confident, with the presence, interpersonal skills and experience to bring instant credibility to the team.
* A broad-based strategic business partner capable of providing leadership in our fast-growing organization. Ability to make order out of chaos with our largest accounts
* A leader, mentor, and trainer to his/her organization. A team player who is able to ensure the team and senior management is aware of problem areas and provided with alternative solutions to ensure Under Armour continues its rapid growth and profitable operations.
* Bachelor's Degree
