Me and my best friend were flote tubing and I put him on the hot carp spot! The results with his homemade carp bait with his gloomis and 4# line. Good thing he was anchored or he would of went for a ride! ......trahttp://184.72.239.143/mu/aefdeb56-8f14-1bcd.jpg

So what do you do with the Carp once you have kept it?

Procohun, this lake is loaded with schools of double digit size carp. i know one fisherman i call ( the carp whisper ) who has caught carp back to back at least 3 times. he always bangs them!

JerryT, i hear the best way to eat carp is steaming it. yeh my friend kept it live and got 40.00 bucks from an asian market for it and used the money to buy 40.00 in lures, not bad at all.
have a great day!....tra

You actually eat carp?? Here's the best recipe for carp I have found:

Place carp filets on a wooden board. Cover the filets in slices of fresh mango, orange and papaya. Place in oven and bake for 25 minutes. Take out of the oven, throw the carp and fruit into the trash and eat the board.
