Not much to say about my hunting. Been seeing plenty of does,passed on several smaller bucks. Hoping to get a crack at the monster I&#39;d scouted before season,and saw on the opener...at 1,000 yrds or so http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-rolleyes-green.gif
He&#39;s been my work-week hunt, but haven&#39;t been able to get into his field since this last snow, not enough time for a long hike.
I know of four or five bruisers that have been taken, including a 265lb 12 from Stockholm.
Been spending Sat. in the Oxbow area. Bucks were scraping up a storm the first week, but things seemed to have ground to a halt last week. Man, I wish I could have been up there after the snow early this week. I&#39;ve several groups of does staked out, it&#39;s just a matter of time before the big guy shows up. Haven&#39;t talked to Tom from the Oxbow lodge this week, but as of last sat. they had hung 4 over 200, all with real nice racks. Said he expected to hang 7 or 8 this week, I&#39;ll find out.

Welcome aboard Roadkill!! Good luck getting your sights on that big boy. Jeez, I don&#39;t know what the heck I&#39;d do with a 265lb. buck in front of me...that is one large critter. What is the heaviest you have heard about overall. I think I&#39;ve read on the net or something about a 270lb. buck taken up your way... DL

(Next town over from me). Biggest one from nearby in a while. One from northern NH last year dressed 272. See, we have a few big ones, too!
