Ted Hallows is a state hatchery director without any fish.Hallows bid adieu Tuesday to the last load of fish from the Kamas Fish Hatchery for at least the next year due to concerns that spring waters feeding the state facility may have been tainted by whirling disease.Hallows noticed a reduction in flow of the spring feeding the hatchery for years.
