Finished the early season this morning. Squadrons were coming in to our marsh by the dozens. It was one of those days.....I couldn't....I mean, um....welll, that is......my shooting was horrible. Still great to have such amazing action. Can't wait until I can have at the mallards that seem to love buzzing me out there.
1100 Magnum and Kent 3" BBs were a bad combination for these two.
Give 'Em Hell!!!!

We had a bunch of ducks and a few geese come into our deeks on Saturday, but the Gods of aim were not on my side this day. Can't believe a day like that was in the cards for me. The real results come when the migratory birds come through. These locals are too smart right now.

Hearing the stories from the northern part of CA makes it seem like we're waiting for Santa Claus down south...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Last year at this spot I skunked on geese the entire season but I learned a lot, and knowledge has begun to pay off.
