That Z7 is'nt cutting it? or are you just extending your options? Sure seems lots of people are unhappy with that and the Reezen. Noise issues.

thinking of exploring double cam stuff. and those elites have that binary cam system. as i understand it, the cams are tied together minimizing timing issues. ??

Bowtech has it as well. But Im pretty sure the timing can still be off/adjusted. havent had any problems with mine.

Have heard they are a smooooth drawing quiet bow and can see they had great numbers. Never shot one but I got my hands on a Hunter. VERY nice! If it were not for the fact that I am going to get a K&K Vengeance, I would probably own one already. Looked great too. The numbers on the Vengeance just looked better and the man who built the Z28 said it was better than any he had ever built. I believed the designer of these bows when he told us it was faster and smoother and better valley etc. so I bought it. The warranty on an Elite is the best of any as far as I am concerned. Will even overnite you a tuned sighted loaner bow if you are on a hunting trip and anything happens to yours. Warranties only last as long as a company, but I would not be afraid to get one. Even if the lifetime warranty can not be honored because the company goes out of business, I have never sent a bow back to the manufacturer. A good shop can take care of anything that goes wrong. If you do not have a good shop nearby, send it out to a good one. I had my strings replaced and fought getting it right for months because one shop did a lousy job. Finally brought it somewhere else and all issues were cleared up in a couple hours. It did force me to learn a lot about tuning bows though! Did you actually send your Mathews in to the company and did not get satisfaction? Or are you unhappy with the way it shoots? Am curious because I almost bought one because MY Mathews Legacy has served me well for 8 years. Also, you should shoot a Hunter or Z28 before you buy one. The draw is smooth but different than a solo cam if that is what you are used to. I liked the draw of the Hoyt Maxxis cam and a halves a little better, but liked the wall and hold and valley and shot on the Hunter better. If you have no confidence in your bow, GET A NEW ONE!!!! Good luck!

are you finding the z7 to be noisy? i am in the market for a new bow and this one is in the top three, but at the shop shooting only about 10 ft, it sounds loud to me?

I noticed a lot of Z-7s on Ebay. Is there a problem or did they just sell way more of them than anyone else did?

One of my concerns!
I am in the market and want to do it right so I am shooting lots and lots of bows. I will say that if some manf. put some of their acclomplishments together they could make a sweet bow. So far nothing is "perfect" lots of things really close though. The z7 and the 2011 Hoyts are in the top rankings. But you see a crap load of z7's on ebay and little to no Hoyts.....it does have me a little worried about the z7.

can u say BEAR CARNAGE! dont ignore the bear bows they offer alot bang for the bucks, i still cant believe how light smooth and powerfull and accurate and very dead quiet my bear strike bow is, super glad i bought it, the 2010 and 2011 bows already blow away the bows they came out with 2 years ago by a long shot. now just got to put a game animal down with it and its all good!......tra

I have shot the assault and the attack. Those bows had a rougher break when getting to full draw and in my hands did not "lock" when at full draw and floated in my hands some while shooting. Also they would release and kick out instead of forward.
They, for me, just didn't fit well.
