Old Style Owl Hooters

I have been making these hooters out of plastic for about 30 years and thought I would try my hand with wood.

good looking calls ,,i've made them from plastic too and find they make better sounds than the store bought ones ...one question,,,where you get the wood that's hollowed out. bambo' or something like that,,or what..it would be nice to have a matching owl hooter and a pot and striker turkey friction call.. there's you an idea '' i want in on it hahaha
