How the hell can someone mistake a human for a coyote??????? I hope they can charge them with something.....and ban them from hunting for a few years and make both of them take a hunter safety course again.

This is horrible. My condolence'es go to the family. I don't care if it was 11:00pm, who would shoot with out knowing their target? That's just plain stupid! Damm when I'am out coon hunting I'am fully aware of which direction I'am shooting, AND have a general direction as to where the bullet is going to fall if I miss a head shot. Stupid is as stupid does.

"Vou;intary manslaughter" comes to my mind and any hunter who shoots and kills a human while hunting under the assumtion that victim was not a human being, deserves no mercy in our justice system in my eyes!
I pray for the game wardens family, in the future I guees will understand why they have to treat us as armed and a possible threat because of people like this are out there in the field,
