It's been almost a month since we came back from a hunt with BorderBandit. I guess, I was just too busy with Mrs. Jones. Here are some details of the hunt: Drove (Feb.2) from the Bay Area to L.A to Xdhunter's place. Car pooled to Uvalde. Got there Feb.4 about 3:00pm and hooked up with BorderBandit (Shane). Couple of hours later I was sitting on a tripod for a pig hunt, while Xdhunter & his son were on another spot somewhere in the property. Just right after dark, 3 pigs showed up in my blinds and I can barely see the critters on my scope and did a point shooting. Lucky me, I got one fatally wounded and the other two, took off like hell. That same night, Rommel (Xdhunter son) bagged his first Javelina. Next day Friday (Feb.5) I shot my first Axis doe. The next day, I missed a shot, but what a HECK, it's part of the hunt. Rommel bagged his deer a couple of hours later. I let Erick (Xdhunter) and Edmon share their part of the hunt. To BorderBandit (Shane) you are awesome, I don't mind riding in your truck with bad stomach pain. Next time I will be in better shape. See some pix.

Another great hunt with ol borderbandit, I am shocked. LOL. Glad you boys enjoyed yourself

One hell of a time you guys had there. We didn't have any hell time until Shane took the last minute to show us the bluff looking down on the river bottom. Bad mistake Shane, but it made for my hunt and thanks for it. Next time my pea shooter will stay home and those axis better watch out.

Man that cold front gave all of us bugs. I've been coughing my brains out since we left the lodge. Today it got a little better and I am ready for another round. When are we going again Eric?
