Does anyone shoot a Traditions inline with the 209 system?. I"VE been trying 100 grains of pyrodex pellets and a 295 grain powerbelt with no success on it grouping constantly. i'm irked. Can anyone tell me a good load to shoot through these guns? thanks.

My cousin bought a Traditions E-Bolt 50 cal. over the summer and he uses the 209 primer system. I helped him get started with it and we shot it in using 2 50gr Pyrodex pellets and 348gr Powerbelts. The thing shoots like a charm! We were getting tight groups about 50 yards, so we sighted it in about 1" high at 50. At 100 yards it's about dead on and gets 1.5-2" groups. That's with a 3x9 power scope though too.

thanks bob ,ill try that.
I have a Knight, and use 348 gr Powerbelts with 110 gr of Pyrodex - a 50 gr and 2 30 gr pellets. That works for me and my buddy. Another friend uses a TC Omega with the 295 gr Powerbelt and the same powder charge. All set off with 209 primers.
