She seemed pretty thrilled about it. Passed her hunter safety class in August. Couldn't stop talking about it. Called her mom and told her she was gonna rub it in her sister's face. I told her she better not if she wants her sister to help her clean it. pretty nice since Wister has been a bit stingy for us this season.

That is great to see her with the duck and a smile!! Looks like you were hunting in the S- or U's ? how was your hunt on Sun?

Every day has been slow. Sometimes you don't see anything for an hour or longer and something comes by so fast by the time you id and complete target acquistion its gone. We'll just keep poking away at them.

Way to cool! And a sprig too boot. Nice to see the next generation getting started and enthused. Good job dad & Katie!

My wife and I saw you at Wister Sunday at check in. We had a rough day in S20-5. The wife shot her second duck (pintail hen) and I never had anything to shoot. Some geese flew over about 9:00 but I thought maybe they were a bit high. Later we got ragged on by my partner a bit away from us about not pulling the trigger on them. Better to not sky bust, or a rookie mistake, oh well there is always maybe next trip. Pretty neat about the your kids first duck, I'm sure you are a proud dad.
