Maya Archers

How many of you JHOers belong to Maya? I joined this year and I'm really glad I did. I've shot a couple of the weekend shoots so far and I've enjoyed each one. I'm looking forward to the upcoming Polar Bear league starting in January. Any of you guys plan on going to those?

For you Sacramento area guys who haven't checked it out I would suggest you do. In the long run it's way cheaper than hitting the range at the archery shop. I haven't been to any other club so I can't compare to any thing, but I think their setup is great.

can't believe that out of 31K+ members on this forum there is only 2 of us that belong to Maya.

I dont belong but do shoot the 3d shoots. I would consider joining if I lived closer. When is the polar bear shoot? It sounds fun and the chance to shoot those targets is something you cant shoot many at many clubs.

I shoot the Stickbow classic every year. It's a great club, and I really like that shoot. I would come out more often, but it's a 2 1/2 hour drive one way. Heck, where I live EVERYTHING is a 2 1/2 drive!

How was the shoot sat. I missed it while quail hunting and will miss this weekend pig hunting but 2 weeks from now I should make it.

Shot the polar bear on sat. Ended up with a 258.

I was all pumped up to go the last two weekends but I got invited to go duck hunting both saturdays. Not gonna pass on real hunting for pretend hunting. I may not get out until duck season is over.
