Here are some bison that were at a hunting ranch I went to this weekend. I went with some sheep hunting clients to collect the capes, but they want to go back and get a bison sometime so the rancher took us by one of the herds. I think he said he had three herds like this of meat bison and he had some trophies mixed in. I was impressed with the ranch. Very large and free range, fair chase (as much as can be on a ranch for bison and exotics). It took us from 6 until noon to get the three animals. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg204/boarhunter67/DCBison048B.jpg

It was off of bitterwater road near 46 and 41. I'm not sure who the actual ranch owner was. His name was Mike, but the guide my clients went through was Mike Berry. They made all the arrangements with him. I just went along to help skin and collect the capes to mount for them. He gave me his number. If you want it, let me know and if it doesn't violate any rules, I'll post it. He guides for bear, bobcat, exotics, pigs, and bison. This was the first time I've been on this ranch, but I liked it.
