I don't know if you are into reloading, but I saw in the Cabela's catalogue that Hornady is offering a 150 gr. Flex Tip GMX (Guilding Metal Expanding) non-lead bullet. According to the catalogue, it is interchangeable with the corresponding leaded FTX bullet of that caliber.
I need a second opinion on this, but it might be a simple matter to use a bullet puller to unseat the existing LE (LeverEvolution) bullet and using reloading dies, reseat the GMX bullet in the case. It's supposed to be possible as long as the new bullet is lighter than the previous one. Otherwise, Socalkid has the hot tip. I'm sure Hornady will have factory loaded ammo with the GMX Flextip eventually. There's too many CA hunters for them to ignore. I'm one of them. I'd like to hear how things turn out.
