The mobility impaired persons pheasant hunt is scheduled for Dec.5 / 2009 . This will be our 10th year so something special such as raffle items may be in store.
Anyone wanting to get in on this hunt needs to fill out the application for the special hunt with the Ca.DFG.
The Madera Breakfast Lions Club will be there to cook lunch.
The Fresno Sportsmens will pick & clean the birds.
We will have volunteers to push the wheelchairs.
I will make sure there are good pointing dogs with their handlers available for each hunter. So get your sport chair out, air up those mountain bike tires and lets go hunting.

New location for the mobility impaired pheasant hunt this year. I am trying to involve more people this year. I have extended invitations to the spinal cord support groups, the DAV and the Wounded Warriors Project. There are some more corporate involvements this year as well which should add to the experience of this hunt. Sunrise Medical "Quickie" , Hevi Shot, Hi Viz sight systems and Honda Power Sports have all jumped in to help out along with the California Wheelin' Sportsmen and Comcast Sports.

Ok sounds great might be able to bring the GSP's out to help as long as I have nothing else going on. Scott
I'd love to go but there's just no way :( I'm in the market for an all terrain cane / shotgun combo though. :patiotic-wavin-flag

Just so everybody knows: Trained pointing dogs and their handlers will be provided for each hunter attending this event. All dogs and handlers are by invitation only so if you are interested in helping out contact me right away.
