Hey,
I had a D-14 Tag..and a J-11....I hope i atleast get 2 hunt my J-11..if it rains....Has it affected ne 1 else?..

My son has a J-14 tag. He too is very concerned. Hopefully it is late enough in the year that the rains will have begun.

I do see a double edged sword here though.. The FS will wait until the rains have kicked in, then claim that the roads can't be opened because they're too muddy, and we'll tear them up.

I hope you get a chance to use either one(or both) of your tags YoungHunter88. My nephew has a J13 tag. Hopefully the Angeles NF will be open by then, but if it isn&#39;t I have a friend that has some property we can hunt on. Hoping this will be the year for him to get his first deer. Good luck.

I honestly hope that you are not holding your breath. These drought conditions could last at least 2 months.

In the meantime, write - not email, a note to the DFG and USFS offices and express your resentment of blanket closures to them.

Don&#39;t hope for too much rain too soon JDC. Then the FS will start playing the "erosion and mudslide" card to keep it closed. Bottom line is they&#39;re out of money and want to save some $$$$$ by shutting it down.
