i know it's kind of early, but would anyone be interested in an overnighter or weekend pack trip in the late spring next year? maybe in the san gorgonio wilderness?

Count me in as well. With the d zone closures it will be nice to get out and scout the area for next year and take some good pics.

now your talking!! you're thinking like i do! there's definately some good spots up there, just takes a little bit of looking...and willingness to pack it out. the area i had this year is a great spot but i had a access problem, no trails, and 3 miles of rock hopping to get back to! but an excellant spot non the less with very little visitation.

If they shut down the CNF. I&#39;ll end up saving even more vacation time so that will not be a problem. Get the packs ready I have a feeling that the spring is going to be cold and wet. I keep telling you guys, that&#39;s why God made horses and mules... They are supposed to wear the packs...
