Northern Manitoba

I'm starting to plan a hunt for 2010 . It will be a first for all six of us.We are thinking of going at it with no guide as all of us have alot of hunting exp (except caribou).We could use all the advice you all could give including how to keep the meat cool ,how to keep the flys at bay ,the tundra, etc,etc.Any advice would be helpfull.The outfitters we narrowed it down too , are Bluesky and Munroe.
