Has anyone been able to solve the issues with the EZ digital? I see a few posts where testing was being done relative to the double flash and the date time stamp, but no resolution.

Brian, DBWORLD,
Any resolution, or is it a lost cause? Is the D370 the way to go?

GeorgiaHunter,

Having one EZ-Digital, and two D-370's, I have to say the Olympus D-370/380 cameras are a much better camera. The quality is very good, and I don't even use my EZ-Digital in a cam because of all the problems. Go with the D-370/380 and you won't be sorry. I have several hundred pics from the Olympus cameras and I think they are great. And if you can afford setting up a slave flash, and external battery supply, combined with Jon's low power mods & other mods... then you have all the features you need in a digital Game cam!

Good Luck

The ez will work...but it's slower, harder to wire, pic quality is worse (esp at night) than the d370. And I don't think it's any cheaper either....though it's been a while.

My issue is that I bought and EZ about six months ago and never got around to putting it together. I am now ready to get going and am not sure if I should bother with it, given what I have read here recently.

Does the 370 have the same issue with the double flash? I also bought a slave flash to use in the digital setup.

Just got a sale paper from Radio Shack. It has an Olympus digital on sale for $99. It is a 1.3 megapixel just like the D370. I believe that it is the same thing in a different case. Any ideas?
