bought my first bow today. a used pse express ultra that goes to 60#. it has the sights, rest and all that stuff on it already and cost $335. i shot it through one of those speed measurement devices and it went between 201 and 203 fps. is this fast enough? can you do things to it to speed it up. i shot it and had pretty good groups for a beginner and it felt comfortable. anybody have any good or bad opionons on this bow?just wondering if i made the right decision.
thanks for your input, Doug Erosky.

Congrats on the new bow. The first thing you have to do is practice, practice and more practice!! PSE is a good bow. If you bought it private , fine a good bow shop and have it set up to your needs . I have spent alot of $$ on "Little things" to make my bow shoot better . EX: a few sets of sites, limb savers , diffrent releases ETC. So practice and get to know your new friend!!

My first bow was a pse too and we've had some fun together! Brad gives you good advice to get some help with the set-up... you can figure it out yourself, but it can get frustrating. One of the most important things is to get someone to help you with your stance and grip. Good luck and keep us posted! Oak.

thanks for the words of encouragement. the bow was used and had all the stuff already on it. have shot it 4 days in a row. fortunatly i bought it from pacific archery here in vegas because after the fourth day of shooting i noticed a small crack on the lower limb. they have ordered me 2 new limbs for free and they help me with tuning and shooting. hopefully i will get it back by the time i get back from rabbit and quail hunting this weekend. then i can go shoot with my 9year old son who just happened to get a brand new bow for his birthday yesterday. i am way excited to go hunting with a bow.
