Why don't you try WASCO (800-334-8012) www.taxidermy.com ....They have everything you will need. They carry deer mounting kits, training videos, books, supplies, etc. They are great people to deal with and will get you going into the right direction...Dan/ Desert Wings Taxidermy

Wasco would be a great place to start. The truth is it depends on how you were taught, you can spend years trying to be good if you learned bad technique. I personally worked in a shop were poor work was all I could do, As soon as I left and was able to use a different process my work drastically improved. Also if you were to buy a book such as the ones in Wasco ( the Breakthrough book of Deer mounting) may be a good one to start. But instead of using thier tan send it out to a tannery get it done, and the most critical process will be done, order your form and follow instruction, plus get some more ideas from other people such as in the taxidermy net forums. The link is pinned. Good luck: Bryan
