Beretta Donates Tikka T3 Rifle To Hunting Heritage Trust "50 Best Guns"
7/11/08
ACCOKEEK, Maryland - Beretta has announced its support of the unique project between Field & Stream and the Hunting Heritage trust to gather and auction examples of "The 50 Best Guns Ever Made." Beretta has donated a Tikka T3 Hunter rifle, one of the firearms named to Field & Stream's list. This project will support the nation's hunting and shooting sports heritage.
In early 2005, Field & Stream ran a story featuring their selection of the "The 50 Best Guns Ever Made." Recently, the Hunting Heritage trust launched its "Treasures & Traditions" program, which features the on-line auction of donated firearms and shooting sports equipment to raise funds for the Trust and other pro-hunting and shooting organizations. The two groups now partner in a nationwide effort to gather quality examples of Field & Stream's listed 50 best guns in the "Field & Stream 50 Best Quest." The culmination of this effort is a major charity auction in support of our nation's hunting and shooting sports heritage.
"The Tikka T3 has quickly become one of the most popular rifles on the market today. It is the new benchmark for the American hunting rifle, mixing the world's finest out-of-the-box accuracy rating with silky smooth bolt operation and uncompromising reliability," stated Patrick McDonald, vice president of sales and marketing. "Supporting the future of hunting and shooting is very important to Beretta. We are very pleased to offer this Tikka firearm as part of this fundraising effort."
