Shooting USA - Tim Bradley Profile
4/2/08
This week a new exhibition shooter continues the American tradition. Then we're reviewing the guns of our freedom at the National Firearms Museum.
Shooting USA - Tim Bradley Profile
This week a Shooting USA profile of our newest exhibition shooter, where he's from, and his unlikely road to the top. Not long ago he was chasing bad guys as a bounty hunter, but now he's chasing clays with a Benelli. Plus Robbie Johnson and Daniel Horner from the Army Marksmanship Unit will get you set up to win in tactical competition.
Sighting In with Shooting USA - The National Firearms Museum
We're Sighting In on Historic Firearms at the National Firearms Museum outside Washington, DC. to see the NRA's incredible collection of the guns of our history. Plus Allan Jernigan has a reloading tip to help you perfect your loads. And Jerry Miculek continues his Pro Tips series for revolver fans. This time Jerry's teaching the proper grip.
More Information is at the Website www.ShootingUSA.com (http://www.shootingusa.com/)
It's an hour of history and tradition, Wednesday on Outdoor Channel at the following times by time zone:

* Central Time - 3:30 PM, 7:30 PM, 1:00 AM (Thursday)
* Mountain Time - 2:30 PM, 6:30 PM, Midnight
* Pacific Time - 1:30 PM, 5:30 PM, 11:00 PM
Analysis of the Supreme Court Heller Case:
It will be July before the Supremes render a decision on the Washington, DC gun-ban case that could have far-reaching effects on defining the meaning of the second amendment. In the interim, you may be interested in analysis and commentary provided by Alan Korwin, a co-author of the definitive book on Gun Laws as defined by Supreme Court cases over the years.
Alan Korwin has posted a series of articles on his website that cover the events in the court during oral arguments, analysis of the questioning by the justices, and the traps laid by questions that could have tripped-up attorneys arguing the case. It's the best informed and most thoughtful writing on the case that I've yet seen published. The website will offer to sell you the book of gun laws previously published by Korwin and his co-authors, but it's the links on the page to his current articles that you will find highly informative. I recommend it. The link is http://www.gunlaws.com/supreme.htm
