When I was in charge of Garand Qualification Matches at the now defunct Yucaipa Gun Club I told participants to save the March 1986 American Rifleman article Reloading For The M1 Rifle as it will be invaluable as a reference,it has been for me and the many others.

If anyone wants a copy of Reloading For The M1 Rifle from the March 1986 American Rifleman send me your email address and I'll email it to you!I've used the load data with a Nosler 165gr BT to successfully hunt mule deer in CO with my garand and it's accurate in my Sako Finnbear 30-06 so it should work in other 30-06 bolt action rifles.

Does anyone have a M-1 safe load that will launch a 175 gr. MatchKing with sufficient velocity to stay supersonic at 1,000 yards?
