As many of you read in previous reports of one of the luckiest person on this site who drew a G3 tag with no points this year and ended up getting is first deer in that G3 hunt, that JHOer was Jboy. It seems that all the luck is now gone because Jason passes away on New Years Eve and has left a huge hole on our families lives. We have such great memories to remember him by in last months hunt, in the years he was with us, and how much he touched our lives but he will truely be missed and never forgotten.
Rest in peace Jason and I hope you reach those other happy hunting grounds in the next part of your life.
Your Friend, Brother, and Hunting Partner

Wow, that is terrible news. Even though many of us on this site don't know each other personally, it seems like we still form a common bond. My prayers go out to his family and friends.
Kurt, what a loss for you to lose one of your hunting buddies, my condolences.

Chap.
I am very sorry to hear of Jason's passing. In fact. I'm a little shocked.
Seemed from the pics that he was a stout and young fellow.
I'm very glad he was able to go on a good hunt.
What caused his passing.
That is very sad news, I'm sorry to hear it. Best wishes to you and the family in 2008. RIP JBOY.

Dang sad news, and my thoughts go to his family and loved ones.
I suppose that G3 tag was a bigger blessing than most folks realized. A dream for many of us and he got to partake of it before he moved on.

RIP Jboy. God Bless and comfort his family and friends. Tough times for sure. Seems any man that can carry a deer out of the hills is too young to pass away. Like the song says, Live like you were dying.

Each day so many of us take life and everything in it for granted, that is, until something like this happens. I'm not sure of the circumstances but Jboy was definitely too young to pass. My heart go out to his family and friends.

Folks, I look at teh picture of Jboy, and it is a fantastic reminder that our lives are finite, but our souls are not. We have to strive to take in life's beauty in every day we are given. We trivialize the inconsequential so much, when we should constantly remember to hold life dear.
My prayers go out to Jboy's family. From his pictures, he looked like a man that enjoyed life, and that is what it is all about. If anything, this post has rekindled my inner flame to laugh a bit more, yell a bit less, and enjoy the family that God has provided.

Very well said buckeye. Sometimes we need reminders to let us know how fragile we really are and how short of a time we have here. Dont sweat the small stuff and enjoy every minute. Especially time spent with loved ones.
