California Wheelin' Sportsmen is a state wide chapter and part of the National Wild Turkey Federation's outreach program for disabled sportsmen along with their friends , family and sponsor members.
Our mission is to provide outdoor opportunities and purchase adaptive gear to help make the outdoor sports enjoyable and accessible.
On Saturday January 12 , 2008 we will host our second annual fund raising banquet. Tickets are on sale now ! Come and enjoy a fun filled evening. Good food (NY steak dinner) Good friends and lots of games ,prizes , silent and live auction along with a raffle. There will be plenty of chances to win donated hunts, guns and outdoor gear.
We have invited a few vendors with new innovative products to display outdoor equipment and vehicles at the event along with some special guests.

I forgot to mention there will also be silent and live auctions along with the first look at the new NWTF core package as this is the first banquet dinner of the year. We will also hold a special drawing for the NWTF 08 gun of the year which is a special limited edition Weatherby 300 mag commemorating the 35th anniversary of the NWTF.

We have several events planned for this year including fishing days , hunts for turkeys, pheasants, chuckers, doves and pigs.
There is a still target shoot also in the works and some events combined with the DAV.

This banquet is a fund raiser so that we can put on these events and help people with all disabilities get outdoors.

It is not too late to get tickets before the day of the dinner and qualify for the early bird drawing ( winner will receive $200 in raffle tickets) but time is running out.
