Has anybody found a good place to buy "Non Lead" factory rounds chambered in .270 Win????

I sighted in with Rem 130 gr lead. When I decided to hunt in condor-ville I knew I had to find unleaded. I bought 3 types and found that (unfortunately) Win. E-tips followed my sighting in. Barnes did not. Black Mtn did not. I spent a lot of money on stuff that won't work.

The word is Expensive!!!

Living farther north, i don't need to go no lead but thought i'd try some E-tips for my 270 WSM. I got mine thru Bass Pro, 3 boxes of 130grs. Pretty hard to comprehend but my normally fine shooter, -1" with Rem Premier Accutip stuff now discontinued, could only muster 2 1/2- 3" groups with the E-tips.:skeered:

Moral to the story; try one box first before dumping $150. on ammo that won't shoot well in your gun:confused:

I'm now in the process of rolling my own!!!

I buy most of my ammo online from MidwayUSA or Cabelas
