I'd like to officially welcome Del Sol Wilderness Adventures (http://delsolwildernessadventures.com/) as one of JHO's newest sponsors. Del Sol is a world class outfitter running hunts thru some of Oregon's most rugged, scenic, and game rich terrain - Hell's Canyon and the Eagle Cap Wilderness. They offer drop hunts, supplied drop hunts, as well as fully guided 'deluxe' hunts for all types of game including trophy mule deer, elk, and spring/fall bears.

I've been very fotunate to have hunted with the Del Sol crew on 3 seperate occasions, the first two being successful backcountry bear hunts and the other a 10 day backcountry adventure into the Eagle Cap Wilderness after trophy deer and elk. These guys know their stuff and will do their best to get you on game and make your hunt, the adventure of a lifetime.

Kirk,

Thanks for that nice welcome.
I knew as soon as I was brought on-board with Barry and Del Sol, that I we had to do a little "reaching out" and let people know that we exist.

JHO has been a home for me for, Oh gosh, nearly 4 years or better. And I've met some great people, responsible outdoorsmen and women, and avid hunters who like to do it the right way.

I was introduced to Barry and his outfit by Cameron Hanes, back in 2002, and thought that he ran a quality outfit, in some of the best country around. And that I wanted to get involved with him any way possible.

With my experience as a paying client, and now as an employee, and with other accomplished hunters, such as Kirk Edgerton, (a.k.a ArrowSlinger) my good friend Kevin Akers, of course, Cameron Hanes and South Cox; Barry has done nothing but provide us all with excellent service.

So, with that being said. Thanks for letting us speak about what we do. And the members of JHO are the type of people that we cater to. The hard-core hunter and sportsman, who realizes the experience in a hunt is not just the killing a critter, but in the overall hunting experience.

And boy do we have experiences, that is for sure. And of course, we also put alot of critters on the ground. But more importantly, we have a great time, and experience some of the most rugged wilderness the lower 48 has to offer.

Thanks again,

Shay

Do you take solo hunters (drop camp) or is there a strict 3 person minimum?

Going solo on us? Did we give you too much grief about your snoring? Or are Brent's farts that bad.

We will work with you on a solo drop hunt. We have a few guys that insist on going solo, so we can make it happen. Email me if you want some more information.

Thanks,

Shay

Well, some of us (not me) are going to the Dark Continent next year and I will have no choice to but to go solo in '08. No one I know here in AZ is willing to spend more than one night in a tent, so a week away from the cell phone and hot water won't fly with them.
