Range time in San Diego

I'm thinking of heading to the range on Sunday morning/early afternoon. ###Project 2000 is located in El Cajon, off of 2nd St. ###Anyone interested?

Sounds great but I'll be in Baja fishing this weekend. ###Would love to do it some other time and pick your brain about hunting Camp Pendleton. ###See the post in the muley forum when you get a chance. ###There are several JHPers who drew the tag. ###Hopefully we get to hunt.

MarinePMI, depending on when my wife gives birth I might be interested in early afternoon. ###Are you shooting rifle range or shotgun?
Is Wildbirdhunter coming also? ###I haven't talked to him in a while.

Have you ever been out to the range in Delzura? It has two rifle ranges one to 100yds the other to 300 yds. and a skeet range.

As far as the meeting time at Project 2000, I was thinking along the 11'ish time frame at the 2nd St. exit, south side, in the parking lot of the strip mall next to the bank. ###Just figured this'd be easier, in the case of people who've never been there. ###It's kinda tucked away in the back of a cement/rock quarry.

It is a real nice range, good people, cheap to shoot at. I really liked going out there in the afternoon on weekdays, only a couple people out there. I could sight in/ practice at the 200yd mark, come back to the 100, then bang on the silhouettes set up at 300.

I've never shot the DFG range. I have never felt that being limited to 100yds allowed me to learn what my gun does.
