Leupold® Repeats as NASGW Award Winner
11/28/07
Beaverton, Oregon -- In addition to celebrating its 100th anniversary, 2007 has proved to be a historical year for Leupold®. The company became the first to win back-to-back Accessory Manufacturer of the Year from the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) on November 7.
"As we reflect on our 100 years in the industry, it's great to see that our strong relationships with our wholesalers continue to flourish more than ever before," said Cynthia Flannigan, Leupold sales manager. "Being the first consecutive winner of the award affirms not only our dedication to quality and innovation, but also our company's great service and industry leadership. As Leupold continues to grow, it's thrilling to know that our growth spills into our distributors' growth - that's what this is all about."
The award was announced at the NASGW Annual Meeting and Expo in Reno, Nev. Winners are selected by the wholesaler members of the organization who both nominate and vote on qualifying companies. Leupold was presented with a custom-made trophy for winning.
Leupold & Stevens, Inc., the only prominent American-owned and -operated optics company, employs more than 650 people in its state-of-the-art Beaverton, Ore., facility where rugged, dependable, high-performance Golden Ring® sports optics are designed, machined and assembled.
