Remington Arms Seeking Western Regional Sales Manager

Remington Arms is the leading manufacturer and seller of Sporting Firearms, Ammunition and Accessories in the country. We are presently seeking Sales Management candidates for our Western Region Sales Group who are able to work effectively from a home office and travel extensively throughout the Western US. We are seeking motivated candidates to hire for the following position:
Sales Manager - Western Region:We are seeking individuals with demonstrated expertise in direct selling, marketing and management of sales professionals to lead our in-direct sales team in the Western Region (Denver West). Candidates should have a proven record in selling to regional and specialty chains, wholesalers and independent retailers, developing sales campaigns with chains and wholesale accounts and most importantly managing a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives. Ideal candidates should possess an effective balance of people skills and creative business selling expertise, and the ability to deliver results that satisfy monthly and annual sales objectives. Strong analytical abilities and an intense desire to succeed are required.Responsibilities include all aspects of regional sales management including customer relations, developing account specific sales plans, creating sales plans to expand distribution and provide sales growth at existing accounts, meeting monthly and annual regional sales objectives, and developing a high caliber sales team.The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, with 7 or more years of field sales experience and demonstrated success in effectively managing sales teams. Strong verbal and written communications skills as well as proficiency with MS office software are also required. Knowledge of hunting and shooting sports is preferred but not required.
