I pick up my new Marlin 25 MN tomorrow :dancinred: and want to head out and sight it in. Any methods to breaking in a new .22 barrel? I do the one shot then clean routine on my bigger rifles for the first ten rounds. Same on a .22?

Thanks.

Brake it in like a center fire rifle and clean as one also. It’s a rimfire shooting center fire rounds so it will need to be cleaned a little more then your 22lr.

Jese,

Drop me an e-mail off line. ###I've got some info to pass in regards to the Marlin actions (esp. the 25MN) that should help give you some pretty tight groups...
