Versus Premieres The Third Season Of TRCP's Life In The Open

Beginning Friday, October 5, at 7 p.m. ET, VERSUS will present the series premiere of TRCP's Life in the Open. Season three will air every Friday at 7 p.m. ET with encore airings each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. ET. The show ended its second season as the highest rated weekend field sports series on VERSUS.
This season watch as host Ken Barrett, a lifetime hunter, angler and writer, guides viewers through North America and beyond in search of some incredible game, using the time-tested conservation insights of Theodore Roosevelt for every adventure. Lands that Roosevelt himself set aside - public lands that anyone can hunt or fish - often prove the backdrops for the Ken's expeditions. This season's highlights include stalking Alaskan caribou and whitetail bucks tucked up against the U.S./Canadian border, angling for Oregon's giant sturgeon and stripers in Boston Harbor and traveling to Africa to hunt exotic wildebeests. There is such a variety this season that sportsmen of all levels will find their favorite landscapes featured on screen.
This week's premiere features a caribou hunt on Alaska's public lands followed by a fishing trip for pink and silver salmon on Alaska's Kenai River.
