Hello Everyone

I found this forum while looking for info on hog hunting in CA. ###I am impressed with all of the subject aras especially the Disabled Hunter area. ###After reading some of the posts I thought I would pass on some info from AZ if anyone is interested.

We have a new group over here named Arizona Challenged Sportsmen. ###We have a little web site that we post stories and pictures from members and friends. ###If you would like to check it out it is at:
### ###http://www.AZOD.org/acs
I try to add new stories and info when I get a chance. ###If anyone out ther would like to share any stories or photos I will get them onto the site.

For those who may be interested in trying there luck archery hunting for desert mule deer we are setting up a first ever archery hunting area for disable hunters. ###If everything keeps moving along as it has been we will have an area on one of Game and Fish's Wildlife areas where disabled hunters will have the opportunity to hunt deer during this coming season. ###Hunters will need an Arizsona CHAMP permit and if they need to use a crossbow they will need a Crossbow Permit. ###They will also need an AZ Hunting License and an over the counter Deer Archery Permit.

The area we are setting up will have accessible blinds for those who choose to use them. ###Depending on the demand we may have to set the hunts up on a first come first served basis on busy days. ###The area is about 30 miles west of the Phoenix area and has easy access to motels and such. ###If anyone is interested in more information please contact me and I will help you out.

Good Huntin

I think that the idea of a hunt for challenged hunters is a great idea. Keep up the good work.

Will look in on your web site when I have time.

Thanks all for the welcome.

Qulhntr - That was my first proghorn hunt and I haven't been able to go again, yet. ###It was really a great time and for an old bowhunter from the Midwest a real learning experience.

wheelchair hunter, welcome.
The idea, great idea of pairing up hunters is something that I wish they would do more of
on this page. ###I've been working with the younger new hunters within our family for years,
and find it very satisfying. ###We all have our disabilities, and it's fun to play with those who
chose to reach beyond the obvious.
Good luck, and give us a holler if your ever up around the great state of Northern
California.....
