Well I found out that we would be pig hunting in the Sutter Buttes on about a 900 acre ranch that saturday morning. I didn't get a pig within range of me, because we spotted at least ten hogs about 700 yards away. UFC fighter Cal Worsham was there involved with the hunt. He decided to walk down the hill about 700 yards and managed to get shoot a Hog with his 30-06.

Are there any opportunities for disabled folks to big game hunt in CA?
I mean are there any organizations or groups that help disabled folks go hunting?
I would like to go hunting but would need help as I don't know where to go and how to get it done.

The organizations that helped me out with big game was the California Deer Association and California Fish and Game. The CDA hooked me up with a blacktail deer hunt in 2004, and I shot a nice fork n horn. That hunt was free of charge for me which I am very gratefull for. There aren't to many land owners that will allow disabled hunters to hunt on there land free of charge, but a pig hunt can be fairly easy for disabled hunters to get. Start off by e-mailing the california department of fish and game and CDA for oppurtunities.
