I just booked a week camping trip for the family at Sequioa NP. We will be staying at Lodgepole. Any recomendations on this park regarding things to do/see would be greatly appreciated. I've checked out the park's web site but there's nothing like an opinion from someone who's been there.

Stickman,

I do most of my hunting scouting on the N.side of the Kings River, but I'm sure you and your family would enjoy a scenic drive on 180.I can see this road from an area I pack into on the other side of the river and it looks like a great road to take.I believe it follows the kings river drainage and there should be plenty of scenic places to see.

stickman,
### ### ### ### ### There are many things to do @ Sequia park. they have museum , walks (with rangers, many sight seeing sites! My favorites are Crystal Cave tour (will cost extra but worth it), Moro Rock (a short hike straight up a trail, but worth it) and General Grants tree. I work at the CDF Hammand fire station just 3 miles before the entrance to the park so stop by any time on thurs fri sat or sun.
Ask for Phillip.

Forgot one thing. The CDF station Hammond is from the south entrance near Three Rivers.
