Like many other website we're going to start a new PM (Premium Membership) subscription here on JHO. For $14.95 for a yearly subscription you will get access to the PM forum. You'll be able to use the private message (PM) system here and have more upload capacity (members get 300k, PM members get 1meg) per post. PM members will have unlimited global capacity for private messages and attachments in posts.
PM members also won't have a 3 min time delay between searches. You'll also get more space to load pics and videos on the pic/video gallery. That and you'll have access to current gear and guide reviews from the JHO Pro Staff.
We're not taking ANYTHING away from the regular members, this is just a way to finance the heavy server load that the private messages demand and that forum searches use. We'll also be using the subscription money to pay our staff who have been working for peanuts the past years. It will help us provide a better and more polished product to the users here. Think of it as a magazine subscription that provides you with timely hunting & fishing info and entertainment. No 2 month lag like magazines or TV shows have, if it's breaking news it's posted here the same day usually. That's a little over $1 per month. Members who do not buy the PM membership will still be treated the same, in fact nothing will change for them on JHO. There will be no hard sell for members to buy the PM subscription, it's all up to you and if you think it's worth it to you.
To purchase your PM subscription go to your "My Controls" link at the top of any forum page and look under "Options". Then click Purchase Paid Subscriptions (http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/index.php?act=paysubs&CODE=index). You can use Paypal or credit cards to pay for your yearly subscription.
