I was able to get these photos of a bachelor group silhouetted against the sunset tonight on my way home from taking photos. ###I have always wanted to take aphoto like this.

WOW! Saskman, you finally got the silhouette shot. I'm still trying to get everything to line up perfect for me to take a pic like that. Printing time. The pics would make great screensavers too I bet.

I am loving these pics! ###I've tried to start carrying my camera out with me on trail rides, but I forget it about half the time. ###

There's a small bachelor herd near where I ride which includes a very promising blacktail buck. ###Best I can tell from 200 yards, he's at least 3x3 but I think there's more I can't see. ###Nothing like those honking big muleys you're looking at, but tons of fun to daydream about. ###What really sucks is that I just found out, up until about a year ago, I could have gotten permission to hunt this land. ###Now there's a trophy home development going up nearby, and hunting has been halted.
