I headed out solo to the Bryson resort to do a little coyote calling. On the first evening I called in a pair and dropped the more interested one at 225-yards.
The next day was a wash due to some miscommunication and the heat. We ended up trying a little night hunting and I put Deedy on the light. On the first stand we call in a nice bobcat. He hangs up at about 150-yards until I find a sound he likes and here he comes. He ends up checking up at 50-yards and we just watch him for a bit. It was big fat cat. We talked to a bunch in a deep canyon, but they didn.t want to play.
We also hit Bryson's new rifle range and sighted in Deedy's .204 and Karin's .17 HMR. Both were putting up good groups their first time behind the new guns...watch out squirrels.
Thanks again Deedy and Karin, as always I had a great time.
Deedy, Chris and I will pull together the August trip. Thanks again.

Switch- I am so glad you made it home safe and sound. Thank you for everything you do around here. His list of chores was long, I had some coyotes that were showing up at my game cams stalking my piglets, Switch promptly went and called them in and popped one of them, neither one of them were very hungry so Switch had to take a nice clean longer shot.. The dogs had just eaten and were as full as ticks, I'll open the one up in the meat locker tomorrow and see if that was my little piglet in it's stomach like I suspect. Then we had to find all the dogs that had relocated - we found them last night, but like Switch says probably a better day hunt. They are there though, Tim got call reponse back from at least 5-6 dogs, and they were more than a little irritated with us. What a blast. Then the stand that brought in the bobcat was a blast, he would have been in the bag, nice cat, he was in at 50 yards. Wrong season but he was a lot of fun. Thank you so much again for doting on us and thank you for helping with our new guns! It's always such a pleasure to be around you.
Here's a pix with a little more star quality-

Yeah we like it here too- it will soon be replaced, but for now I get to blame all my bad shots on it's "wobbly behavior"
Isn't that right Switch?
Funny though, Switch doesn't seem to have quite the problem with it's "high speed wobbles" like I do http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smiley-bs-sign.gif
