Has anyone done any scouting in D-8 for the bowseason? I have about 24 days before I can get up there and just thought I would ask if anyone has seen anything up there. I hate this waiting around stuff. I got my trailer all ready, been shooting the bow, and looking over all my gear...just about run out of things to do to prepare and the time is just sifting through the hour glass. Any info appreciated.

Hey Prohunter, good to see ya back. Thought ya dropped off the ends of the earth. Shootin....Shootin...shootin...I am ready! Got my trailer all rigged up and have gone through my gear more times than I need to. Just want to make sure i don't forget anything.17 days left for me since I cannot leave till the 23rd. Ahhhh 10 days in the high country, no thought of the hussle bussle fo work and the city. I have one more trip to make to Riverside Archery to pick up some arrows I dropped off for repairs. I have been studying the topos for the area, trying to envision where the most likely places to find deer will be. Seems there is somewhat of a pattern, looking at where I have killed and others have and where I have seen deer. Seems there is a pretty tight area....but still wonder about the areas that I just may have missed seeing deer. WE all know how that goes, get back to camp and find out that someone has seen deer in an area where ya havnt. So here I am just waiting and contemplating a good hunt....see ya around the campfire, I drink my coffee black!
