I went hunting last year up near box canyon in goldendale, and the left side of the road had been consumed by a business/person who I can not recall. I was just curious if anybody would happen to know the name of who's property it is as you are heading up box canyon road? There is some WDFW land that is centered right in the middle and you are supposed to contact the owner to get permission to walk over to it.

The signs posted on the property say you can access the property on the west side of 97 but not on the east.

Anything for finding out would be very helpful or a name in general would be great. Thanks all.

Go to http://www.klickitatcounty.org/

This is Klickitat County's website. When you get there click on the assessor's link. In the Assessor's page you can navigate to the GIS mapping. Now I have not used the GIS mapping for this county but I took a quick look. You can select the parcel tool to the right to enable the parcel numbers on the map. When you get the parcel number of the property in question you can either enter that parcel number (somehwere on their website they should have a place to enter the parcel number) or you can call the assessor's office. Either option will give you the property owner's infromation.

I have used this for several other counties and it works very well. You just have to play with the GIS mapping software and find what you are looking for.

Good luck!

Thanks for your help and the link, I'm going to check that out right now. There are so few places to hunt there now that any hints or area infotmation I can get help. Take care!
