Weekend trip to Big Bear

A buddy and I went up to Big Bear this weekend to arrow some carp. We arrived LATE on Thursday night, fished all day Friday, and also Saturday Morning until 10. It was my 2nd time, and his first. We took a lot of shots, but mostly missed. Since we were fishing from the shore, docks, and piers, most of the shots were either long or awkward (shooting over rails). Seemed like we were either aiming too high or too low. We ended up with 8 (5 for him, 3 for me), the biggest being about 4 lbs. Didn't take many pictures, but I'll post one tonight. On Saturday morning, we saw 4 other archers, and they said they had taken 4 (that was at 10 as we were driving past the dam on our way out).

KEwl Don. It'll pick up here in the next 2 weeks where it'll be non stop carp shooting.

No, I'm pretty busy for the next few weeks. My dad will be in town, so we might try the CO River.
