Some of you are using the Dazzle hardware/software to "dump" video into your computer. ###And was wondering how you liked the results?

Thanks in advance for any information

I'm using the Dazzle DVC 80 on WIN98. Bought it on Egghead.com for around $56 plus $5 S&H.

Likes:
-Very easy to capture video and audio. Just plug the yellow and white into your videocorder and "capture"
-Very stable (at least on my machine).
-Nice but simple editing.
-USB device

Dislikes:
-With this cut down version there's no way to convert from .avi format. AVI is video in uncompressed format hogging up lots of space. You'll have to download other software to compress the video. I use Window Media Player and TMPGenc. They're both free and also easy to use. These 2 formats should be able to run on most computers.

I have the Dazzle Digital Video Creator USB.
Like gizz said it takes up alot of space and found that working with it that it is easy to use and to edit.

I have only tried one time to down load from the pc to a vcr tape and the quality was not that great not sure what I'm doing wrong or if it's the software. I could use some help in this area if anyone has some input on it.
