Spring Turkey

I hate to beat myself up like this but I will try to find a turkey again this year. They are few and far between in the Southwest part of the state. A lot of those that I have found are hiding out on private property. How&#39;d you do so far? I hunt mostly eastern side of the state.
With the annual limit being 5 birds now, it would be nice to find good bird numbers on the west side - a bit closer to the house.
