Tivo Issues..

I've had Direct TV with a RCA DVR40 Tivo box on it
for a couple of years.

Recently the Mrs. has been having issues with the screen
stuttering while watching live TV.

My guess is the hard drive is starting to go...anyone
else been in this canoe??

I've been surfing the TIVO forums, perhaps all I need
is a new HD, but just throwing this out there for
any one who might be experienced with the older
TIVO Models...thanks!

Mine has been doing it for a month or so now, and I just installed it at the beginning of the year (wife wanted it for Christmas).

It will interrupt the signal even if we are not watching a tivo recorded show, or if it is not recording while we are watching another channel.
