With all the good guys in here this would be an excellent place to sell, trade bows that are in your garage surplus or on the wifes " need to be pawned list"
I for one am a new bowhunter and looking for a new bow......

Welcome to the board Sierra.
We used to have a topic for buying/selling/trading. ###Not sure what happened to it. ###I sold a bow here last year. ###Guy that got it loves it. ###Don't have any for sale right now though.

Go to the 'Tradin' Post' forum. I think that will help you.

I normally hunt elk with a jennings unistar bow, now my son would like to find a matching bow to mine, its a 31 inch draw and about a 75lb pull, now I love to give more info but thats about all I know about the bow other than it shoots superbly, does anyone know where they are available? and before you say call JENNINGS this is a discontinued model thats about 7 years or more old and no longer stocked by them.

Good luck finding a bow like that. First of all if anyone has one it is either taken good care of and they won't part with it, or most likely left in the garage and been abused. With the new bows out today, you might want to have your son pull on a couple of them and see how he likes them.I just got rid of a nine year old Browning last year that I loved. But I love my new Martin Cougar even better. Oh by the way, Welcome to the forum Sierra. Try looking on Ebay. They have some nice bows on there at decent prices and they usually come completely set up and ready for hunting. Of course you will have to tune it for you. Pick one out then come back here and get some input. There are a lot of good bows out there these days. I recommend going with something like Martin, Mathews, Hoyt, PSE, or Browning. All of them, except Mathews, have a wide price range to choose from.

As a matter of fact I do have a bow for sale that has been very well taken care of........in a case for the greater part of its life. Its a 99 or 2000 Golden Eagle Lite Speed 1. Comes with Efficiency kit, Zebra string (new, just installed), Hydraulic stabilizer, 2 peice quiver, hardwood grip and rubber grip, a Toxonics sharpshooter sight and i might even find a rest for it. Only shot it one year then made the switch to Mathews. Its a very quiet bow, dont know the speeds i was shooting but it wasnt slow. Oh yeah.......Limb savers are on it also.
