My buddy Scott's X9A archery deer

That's my buddy Scott's archery deer from X9A taken last week. ###He's not too big, but is a trophy none-the-less. ###Scott spotted him in some aspens and made a stock along the edge until he was 30 yards away. ###He found a spot and took his shot.

Sorry about the poor picture, it was with a very cheap digital camera. ###Better pics are being developed. ###

14 days and a wakeup until I leave for the same area.

Nice buck Scott got there Eric. Any successful stalk to get into bow range is winning to me.

Was the buck bedded or feeding? By himself? Don't make me get out my belt sander for details.

Hey Jesse. ###He was by himself, feeding in some aspens. ###They didn't see many deer while up there, but enough to make a few stalks. ###This one presented a perfect opportunity because it was so involved in eating. ###I am almost 100% packed and ready to go!! ###
