At least 9 wolves shot during Wisconsin deer gun season

My only thought is----if the State DNR admits that nine (collared) wolves were shot----I bet the actual, total kill, was well into the several dozen category. Most WI deer hunters that I know are not exactly "enthralled" with the size of the existing wolf population.
